Sri lanka
has more cave temples but between those temples the Rangiri Dambulla is
the most venerate among Buddhist people. This most venerate temple is located
in middle of sri lanka (north Kandy) and it is declared by UNESCO as a
archeological and artistic value.

in Colombo, it is 148 km away from Colombo main city and 72 km from north of kandy.
There are nearly
80 caves in the area. In inside of caves there are so many painting about Lord Buddha
life. The name of Dambulla delivers from Damba-Rock and Ulla.
